Technology at Nativity
Digital Literacy. Creative Collaboration. Inventive Thinking. Moral Compass.
Our children need these skills to succeed as lifelong learners in our digital world. Nativity Parish School engages students with 21st-century teaching methods and real-world experiences to actively develop these abilities in the context of strong Christian values. We work with parents to guide students’ use of technology and all it can offer to stimulate more effective learning and develop their technical proficiency.
Kindergarten through 8th-grade students attend technology classes throughout the week. Each child is taught age-appropriate lessons, preparing them at an early age for today's world in which many professions heavily rely on computer use.
With funds raised at our Knights Under the Star Auction, our classrooms are equipped with Interactive Flat Panels, which integrates teaching, technology, and curriculum, creating one of the most technologically advanced schools in the state.
Technology in Kindergarten – 8th Grade
Each student is assigned a Chromebook for classroom use. These devices put innovative educational opportunities at their fingertips. Students learn advanced technology skills, as laptops are fully integrated into classroom teaching and homework, and they also learn significant responsibility in managing these valuable tools.
