Student Life
Nativity students have the opportunity to become involved in many activities that are designed to appeal to a wide variety of interests. Our students are blessed with many talents that can be fostered and used to benefit others. The goal is to create healthy life-long habits and well-rounded individuals! Nurturing growth in all aspects of a child’s development is a privilege that we take very seriously.
At the beginning of each school day, prayers that are written by our students are read over the loudspeaker as we begin our daily journey together. Throughout the day, our students are encouraged to enjoy a variety of activities. Students may choose to participate in academic contests, depending on their grade level, such as the Geography Bee and the Spelling Bee, Quiz Bowl, Math Counts, Science Olympiad, and Battle of the Books. We also encourage our students to enjoy discovering their artistic talents by providing them with opportunities such as the Star Singers, Art Fairs, Christmas Pageants, and the 6th grade and 8th grade plays.
We encourage students to get involved in their school and to take action. Our students actively take part in Christian service opportunities for the school and the greater community. Our junior high students get involved through student council and through mentoring opportunities as they help guide our younger students, whether it’s by sitting with them in Mass or by lending an ear as they practice their reading out loud.
We consider it an honor to provide opportunities for our students to develop their God-given talents in an environment that honors each other's gifts and diversity.
